Happy 2010 Bell County – Time For New Leadership

It is time for us to join together and totally replace the current crop of County political leaders. We simply cannot endure another decade with the same good ole’ boys in charge.

If you have any money left after our County officals got through with you, don’t let the Belton school board find out as they have now adopted the same end run tactics as our County Judge has. Go to the state and they will give you the O.K. and money if needed to violate the State Constitution for Bond fund elections, and raising cash to build new palacial office space all in the name of better eduction for our little babies. I just wonder when the sleepy Hollow folks of Bell County will wake up and realize that the only thing they are getting for their money if vacant buildings, beautiful office spaces and uneducated students.
The current leadership in our county has done an amazing job at placing Republican officials in elected office. It is our job to work with the Republican leadership and, through the primary process, assure the Republican candidates are actually conservatives.

Who ever had to job to insure that the Republican’s in Bell County now in office were Conservatives was certainly asleep at the wheel.
Below letter was printed in Belton Journal (12-31-09) regarding our notorious county leaders who put the people 3rd. It’s actually in this order they prioritize: 1. Your money, 2. Themselves, 3., Your money, 4., Their salaries. God and Country (We The People) don’t even make the list.
Regarding the young mother of two whose life was claimed on Kuykendall Mountain Road in Moffat, I notice on news websites many positive comments from businesses, organizations, and loved-ones addressing the mother’s contributions to the community.
Despite News 25 spin and other weirdo comments that were more twisted than Kuykendall Mountain Road and foggier than the weather that morning, I didn’t see one comment addressing Bell County’s repeated negligence.
County engineer, Brian Neaves, even confirms multiple incidents and death in that exact area; yet, Neaves has the gall to say no formal complaints were made. Uh, Hello! Are deaths not enough proof to take action? If it were Bell County judge, sheriff, commissioners or Neaves loved-ones killed or danger in their front yards, they would’ve fixed it quick. Neaves also makes excuse of not economical to fix – What’s life worth to them?
I sent formal complaints to Burrows, commissioner Cortese, Sheriff Smith, regarding hazards on Auction Barn Road (where deputies speed without beacons on). I asked, “Does someone have to die first?” I have my answer now. Being aware of hazards and doing nothing makes them part of the problem.
They built the Taj Mahal – Penal Colony against 8,000 votes but dumbfounded what to do about Kuykendall Mountain Road hazards? Bell County needs to remove the lies from their website: “The Government of Bell County Values” – Public safety for all citizens, Responsibility and accountability, People as our most important resource, and Achievement of positive solutions to every problem.
